In my opinion the side effect of having a decent web site makes the internet better than real estate. The investment you make to create an internet building is extremely low compared to a brick and mortar type business. A web site that you start up for a few bucks and continually grow for a couple of years could not only possibly sell for enough to buy a house when you decide to cash in but can also earn you steady income during the years it remains in your possession.
